I had removed a WordPress plugin called WordFence a while back, and all was well. Today, however, some leftover components from WordFence reared their head and brought my no-name blog down.

This is why SSH should be a standard feature of any hosting package. I was able to shell in, find the offending files and edit them with nano, and get out.
